Important dates and deadlines for course enrolment and other sessional dates.

ISP Student Services

Staff from our office are available to assist First Nations, Metis and Inuit applicants through the application process and the transition to post-secondary studies. We can provide support, information and advocacy for Indigenous applicants. We can also assist students in accessing Indigenous-specific services on campus and in the greater Hamilton community. We can also help navigate other McMaster services and opportunities like academic advising, bursaries, scholarships, or student wellness.

ISP Summer Transition Program

We hope you will consider participating in this great opportunity to meet Indigenous Faculty and the Indigenous Services staff, and to become familiar with the campus and the Hamilton community.

Study Abroad

A study abroad experience will give you the opportunity to gain tangible skills in your program of study, challenge your personal limits, foster your global perspective, and give you an edge in your career field – all without missing a beat during your time at McMaster. In other words, a study abroad experience is the perfect complement to your McMaster degree!

The Student Wellness Centre

The Student Wellness Centre is the place on campus to address your wellness needs. By providing a wide range of Counselling Options, Medical Services and Wellness Education resources, we hope that we can enhance your academic success and your McMaster experience.

Academic & Writing Skills

From writing support and tutoring services to workshops and educational planning, we act as your central hub for academic support. We offer opportunities for you to meet individually with trained students and staff, to participate in workshops and gain access to tools for self-guided learning. Grand River Mohawk Language Toolkit

The Grand River Language Project at McMaster University seeks to record and preserve the unique dialect of Kanien'kehá:ka (Mohawk) spoken only at Six Nations of the Grand Rive. With only a handful of (known) remaining speakers of the dialect left, we seek to help promote awareness of this dialect of Mohawk both locally and abroad.
