Joint Economics and Health, Aging & Society Professor Receives Grant for New Health Research

Michel Grignon, a joint faculty member of the Department of Economics and the Department of Health, Aging & Society, has been awarded federal funding for a new research project focusing on healthy aging.

The project focuses on whether education slows down the aging process. The study looks at how social position influences healthy aging and whether that status gets stronger or weaker depending on time and place. The project was awarded $317,475 over a four year period.
